Chris is the owner. Checks on customers. Ingrid & Taylor are great servers. I've visited about 10 times. Parking lot gets full, busy. I'm never disappointed, always get great service. There, I've ruined ever going there when it's empty.
I was visiting friends over the weekend and we came to eat here for breakfast/early lunch before we all went home. The food was really good! Eggs were perfect, bacon was great, hash was really good, and of course, the pancakes were great! But, what makes Berries even better is the service and management. The service and staff were really nice and helpful but the management/the family the owns it? I owe them a big one now! I accidentally got my keys locked in the car and, me, a first time visitor, they were awesome to assist me and connections me with one of their local partners on an unlocking service too! Wonderful food, wonderful people, great vibes, great owners, great family. Everyone needs to visit!
Service is always quick and friendly. The pancakes and waffles are what I think they do best. While the tables are a little crowded, people go on. packing in for the reasonable prices and generous portions
Went here as my last "get together" with one of my friends in MI. I had driven past Bettie's several times on my way to and from Powerhouse and Fanfare. Anyway, we decided to meet here for breakfast. I kid you not, the parking lot was CROWDED. We were under the impression that everything was going to take a minute or two. Welp, fast forward to walking inside, we were immediately seated. Within 15min (getting our menu and ordering) we had our food. YES. That fast. The food wasn't bad at all. Real lowkey homey vibe. Check this place out if you're in the area for a solid breakfast.
A newer place in Kalamazoo and it has some pretty good breakfast including my favorite, Irish Benedict and it didn't disappoint. We also tried the traditional eggs Benedict and 2 eggs, bacon and pancakes breakfast. The only critique is that the bacon was almost overly crispy... to the point of burnt The service was also very good and I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town The location is the old Theo and Stacy's. It has its own parking lot which is convenient
Totally deserved more than 5 stars! The staff are friendly and quick and the food is delish My new favorite breakfast place and the lunches are just as good.
Pancakes are the best! I love the omelets and the Greek entrees. Service is fast and polite. They do get real busy at lunch !
